Royal Academy of Dramatic Art trainee who first gained attention for his role of Herr Zeller in the musical The Sound of Music. He also played roles in films such as The Fortune Cookie and My Fair Lady. He started his career in radio, providing his voice for such programs as Sherlock Holmes, Pursuit, and The Green Lama.
