Better known as Dory Funk, he was a professional wrestler who was posthumously inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame at the International Wrestling Institute and Museum. He was an amateur wrestling champion in high school and champion at Indiana State University.
