The oldest brother of the popular 1990s R&B group Soul for Real. Together, the sibling foursome released the platinum album Candy Rain and the subsequent releases For Life, Heat, and Evolution: The Journey. He had just barely cracked the age of twenty when he formed Soul for Real with his brothers in 1992. They would sign to Uptown Records two years later.
