Between 2001 and 2011, Matic released seven pop-folk albums, including Prokleta Je Violina (2001), Zbogom Ljubavi (2003), and X Zajedno (2011). During this period, he also toured both domestically and internationally. In the early 2000s, he rose to fame while performing at New Belgrade's Club Spanac venue.
