A Spanish author of numerous bestselling romance novels, she is best known for her 1991 work, Lucha Oculta. A prolific author, she published weekly fiction pieces for Vanidades, a popular magazine. She was educated at a Catholic school and read voraciously as a child. She published her debut novel, Atrevida apuesta, in 1946.
