Famous during the 1970s for her roles in Czech films such as Mala Morska Vila and Die Elixiere des Teufels, Schallerova also appeared in a handful of 1980s and early 1990s movies. When she was just thirteen years old, she appeared in her first film, a 1970s surrealist feature titled Valerie and Her Week of Wonders.
