Notable for his participation in the 2011 Abbottabad raid that resulted in the killing of Taliban leader and international terrorist Osama bin Laden, this U.S. Navy SEAL claimed to have shot bin Laden in the head during the top secret operation. Following his graduation from Butte Central Catholic High School, he began his military career, originally intending to become a U.S. Marine Corps sniper but ultimately joining the Navy SEALs instead.
