Known for his time in the Arkansas House of Representative for the state's 86th and 92nd districts. Between November 2012 and June 2014, he served as the House Minority Leader for the Democratic Party. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2011 with his bachelor's degree in marketing. He was first elected to the Arkansas state legislature in 2010.
