Became the first UK Formula One World Champion following his 1958 victory at the Formula One Championship. He finished his career with 3 wins and 18 podiums. He made his debut in 1950 at the Brighton Speed Trials driving a 1934 Riley Ulster Imp and two years later made his Formula One debut with a 4th place finish.
