British actor who appeared in many films, including Gandhi, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Mississippi Masala. He also appeared as Dr. Dhalsim in the 1994 film, Street Fighter. He was born in India and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
