Poet and rapper who first rose to fame in 2012 after the release of his debut EP Mykki Blanco & the Mutant Angels. He then released two more EPs before his first studio album Michael came out in 2015. After running away from home at the age of sixteen, he spent short stints in the arts colleges the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Parsons School of Design.
