Well known for co-writing the Grammy-nominated duet "Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed" along with her mentor Prince. She is an artist, entertainer, singer, actress, and advocate for education through entertainment. She made her Broadway debut in "Motown, the Musical" in 2014. She was honored as a Presidential Scholar in the Arts during high school where she also received 3 Gold medals in the NAACP ACT-SO competition. In her early 20s, she began singing with jazz legend Lee Ritenour and Grammy-nominee Tamia. Then she created Syren Music Group, LLC, through which she released her independent album My Name is Tamar in 2011.
