Venezuelan singer who is considered one of the key figures in the subgenre techno-merengue. He has released more than two dozen albums over the course of his career and scored hits with singles like "Nadie Como Tu," "Esta Pena Que Me Mata" and "Baja de Esa Nube." He began performing with the group Los Mel dicos in 1984. He made his solo debut in 1988 with the album Sac dete Nena.
