Born Daniel Dwayne Simmons III, he was signed by Atlantic records after releasing his debut mixtape, The First Flight in 2009. He is also the youngest member of the hip-hop crew All City Chess Club. He appeared on the reality show Run's House, which ran from 2005 to 2009.
