Remembered for heading A&M Records during the late 1970s, 1980s, and first year of the 1990s, this entertainment executive was also the leading producer of the 1985 classic film The Breakfast Club. In addition, he was one of the founders of the Classic Sports Cable Network. While attending the University of California, Los Angeles, he worked as an assistant at Capitol Records. He later secured employment with Kapp Records.
