Singer who made waves in the R&B scene with her 1997 cover of Turley Richards' "You Might Need Somebody." For her debut album, Much Love, she won MOBO Awards for Best R&B Act and Best Newcomer. She was born in Paddington and was discovered by producer Kwame Kwaten at age fifteen.
