MLB catcher who made his major league debut in 2013 as a member of the Houston Astros. He played twice for the USA national baseball team while a student-athlete at Yuba City High School. He had initially committed to play college baseball for the UCLA Bruins before being drafted in the 4th round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Oakland Athletics.
