U.S. Senator from Vermont from 1989 to 2007, who became an Independent in 2001 after spending his career as a Republican. He also serve in the US House of Representatives from 1975 to 1989. He obtained a law degree from Harvard Law School after getting his undergraduate degree from Yale.
