Famous for her starring role as Peppi in the Finnish television series Salatut Elamat (Secret Lives), she is also notable for playing the same character in the 2012 thriller Nightmare - Painajainen Merella and in its 2014 sequel. Before making her screen acting debut in the 2009 made-for-TV movie Salatut Elamat 10 V, she graduated from Porkkalan High School in Kirkkonummi, Finland.
