American politician who represents the Democratic Party and became the 81st Governor of New Hampshire in 2013. She was also the Majority Leader of the New Hampshire Senate from 2008 until 2010. She earned an A.B. from Brown University and a J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law before working as an attorney.
