Spanish forward who first gained attention while playing for Atletico Madrid and who has gone on to become a standout player with clubs like Getafe and Sevilla. He began representing Spain at the Under-19 level and was a member of the team which finished as the runner-up at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in 2003. He got his start with Real Jean before playing with Atletico Madrid's youth squad in 2001. He made his senior debut with the club the following year.
