Most well known for his portrayal of Graeme Proctor on the popular British soap opera Coronation Street, he is also notable for his professional stage work, which includes United Kingdom tours of the plays The Full Monty and Funny Peculiar. After studying at both Eggbuckland Community College and City College Plymouth, he enrolled at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and subsequently performed at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
