Film actress who appeared in several award-winning films, including the 2000 movie Men of Honor, the 2011 film The Help, and the 2004 film Ray. In 2015, she began playing the character Miranda Shaw on the ABC series Quantico. She earned a degree in African-American studies from Brown University.
