Philadelphia-born sportscaster best known as the play-by-play man for Seattle Mariners television broadcasts. He is also a football broadcaster who became a fixture on Westwood One's Sunday Night Football in 2006. He was a catcher for the Bethany College Bison and played on the school's varsity football team. He got his start in sports media as a sportswriter for the New York Daily News.
