Remembered for his roles in numerous Buster Keaton silent shorts, Roberts also appeared in the 1922 movie The Primitive Lover and in the 1924 comedy film The Misfit. His best known Keaton films include The Love Nest, The Frozen North, and The Goat. He first met Buster Keaton while attending a vaudeville summer program run by Keaton's father, Joe Keaton.
