Well known for her role as Cristina Solano in the Colombian soap opera adaptation of the American series Grey's Anatomy titled A corazon abierto, she has had major roles in telenovelas that include Corazones Blindados, Secretos del para so and Tiro de gracia. From an early age, she showed an interest in acting. At the age of 17, she traveled to London to work as a model to campaign for Levi's brand.
