Eclectic abstract painter who received the Vladimir Nazor Award for lifetime achievement in 1990. His earliest work was focused on still lifes and calligraphic brushwork, while his later work focused on texture and mythical motifs. He studied at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts and at the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts. He was also mentored by the famed uro Tiljak and was employed by the studio of Krsto Hegedu i .
