Remembered for his roles in such 1950s and '60s films as El 7 Leguas and The Mask of Death, he is also notable for his portrayal of Padre Tomas in the 1990s Mexican television series Bajo un Mismo Rostro. He played his first major role in the 1944 feature film Sota, Caballo y Rey.
