Irish striker who scored 44 goals in 174 appearances for Reading FC from 2005 to 2011, then spent three seasons with West Bromwich Albion before joining Hull City in 2014; was first selected to the Republic of Ireland national team in 2007. He began playing youth soccer with Borris St. Kevins at age seven.
