Renowned Croatian striker who became known for his graceful shots over opposing goalkeepers. He was named Croatian Footballer of the Year in 1993 and spent his club career with seven different teams, most notably Juventus, Marseille and Middlesbrough. He began his career with Yugoslavia's Hajduk Split in 1987.
