MLB manager who led the Chicago White Sox to a World Series title in 2005. He played short stop for the White Sox from 1985 to 1997, winning the AL Rookie of the Year award in 1985 and a Gold Glove in 1990. He was first signed as a free agent by the San Diego Padres in 1980 but he was traded to the White Sox four years later.
