Indie and psychedelic rock musician known as the lead singer and songwriter for the group Tame Impala. He plays the guitar, drums, bass, synthesizer, and piano among others. Tame Impala emerged from what was known as The Dee Dee Drums, where he and other Tame Impala members competed and won the National Campus Band Competition at the Western Australia State Final.
