Famous for his Nandi Award-winning performances in the Telugu films Chitram Bhalare Vichitram (1992) and Sogasu Chuda Taramaa? (1994) and for his appearances in close to a hundred other Indian movies, including the hit 1982 feature Nalugu Stambhalata. He made his childhood acting debut in the 1972 feature Pandanti Kapuram.
