Best known as an Emmy Award-winning meteorologist and storm chaser for The Weather Channel. He began his time with the station in 2003, and has covered various major storms, including Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy. He earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in atmospheric sciences from Ohio State University. In 1998, following his graduation, he became the chief meteorologist for the local Asheville, North Carolina ABC affiliate WLOS. He worked there until 2003 when he accepted his position with The Weather Channel.
