Best known for his 2005 appearance on the Russian X Factor and for his 2011 performance at the Eurovision Song Contest, this Russian pop singer released such singles as "Get You" and "Russkie Zabili." He frequently performed and recorded under the English-language stage name of Alex Sparrow. After training for many years as an accordionist, he began studying voice and won several singing competitions. He signed with Universal Music Russia in 2006.
