In a career that spanned nearly 60 years, he appeared in a wide variety of roles, including as a soap publicity man in Lady Godiva Rides Again, a Green Glades desk clerk in Kill or Cure, and Fermleigh's Butler in The Missionary. He had an uncredited role as a kitchen helper in The Private Life of Henry VIII in 1933 and followed that role with a portrayal of Dr. Germont in The Lady is Willing a year later.
