British poet and literary critic associated with the Georgian and Dymock Poets. His works include Emblems of Love, Speculative Dialogues, and Mary and the Bramble. He studied at Malvern College and at the University of Manchester. He published his first poetry book, Interludes and Poems, in 1908.
