He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft. He was born 3 months premature, weighing just 3 pounds 4 ounces. He went on to become a basketball star at Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana, winning the Indiana Basketball News state MVP award.
