Rich Piana is a well known public figure in the world of weight lifting and body building. Born in Los Angeles, California to a professional body builder mother, Rich Piana was drawn to the world of weight lifting at a very young age. As a kid, Rich would often visit the gym his mother trained at and would watch in awe as huge men with bulky bodies lifted heavy weights. The energy and charm around the gym was contagious and soon caught the attention of Rich from the time he was a little boy. From the tender age of 11, Rich ventured into the realm of body building as he started on a quest to build a body like no other. His journey was not bereft of obstacles, as Rich worked hard and struggled to make ends meet having to make do with $1 meals at one point. However, the NPC California Championship that he won at the age of 18 was enough assurance that he had what it took to reach the top of the weight lifting world. Since then, Rich Piana has reached heights he never imagined he ever could ' whether it was in the world of weight lifting, acting or merely as an inspiration to others to workout better in their lives.
